High School Math Rigorous Assessment Items (Grades 9-12)
We are seeking rigorous Common Core math aligned assessment items to add to our site. These items must be unique and require students to think critically and strategically.
Applying to this project involves submitting a rigorous assessment item that you have already created for use in your classroom, as described below. If accepted, we will ask you to complete a short project based around this item.
Item Submission Requirements:
In order to apply, you will be asked to submit a single item that fulfills the following four requirements:
1. Focuses on the target standard for which you are applying
2. Is non-routine, requires outside-the-box-thinking, and goes well beyond basic practice
3. Falls within Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (DOK) Level 3 classification (read more about DOK Levels here and here)
4. Is original content already created by YOU and is not the property of any other company
Please do not submit a description of a lesson plan, project, or teacher explanation.

How to Apply:
If you are interested in completing a project, click the Apply Now button below to review the list of standards we are seeking for grades 9-12. Please submit a proposal to any standard in which you are interested by clicking on the 'Link to Apply' for the relevant standard(s). You are welcome to apply to multiple standards.
Note about Payment:
Please be aware that proposing a project is no guarantee of pay. Your item submission must be accepted, and you must complete the assigned project in order to receive payment.

We are excited to highlight the following educator and celebrate her contributions! Check out her bio and recently accepted submission below:
Lia holds a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and secondary education from Providence College, as well as a Master's degree in curriculum and teaching from Fresno Pacific University. She has been teaching secondary math for six years in southern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and she recently finished her second year teaching AP Calculus. Lia is particularly interested in creating appropriate challenges for students at all ability levels.
