What do we look for in a Teacher-Written Passage?
Your passage is more likely to turn into a payable project if you keep the following guidelines in mind.
1. Understand who we are, what we do, and why we do it.
Make sure you’ve read the About Us page. That will tell you what we consider to be the effective instructional practices and frameworks we want to share with the educators who use our products. If your submission doesn’t align with our understanding of best practices, then it is very likely that we won't be able to move forward with the submission.
2. Review the list of Categories for K-2 Passages we want to add to our site.
We need your help. We want to add new passages to our site and we are looking for teachers to submit original passages. Please review the list of categories: https://goo.gl/ekzpmB
3. Ask yourself, "Have I written a passage for my class that fits into one of the categories on this list?"
If so, click the link next to the category to apply. When you apply, you will share with us more about you, your students and the purpose the passage served in your classroom.
4. Don't forget to send us your passage.
Please do not spend time creating anything just for the purpose of submission! Our intention is for the submission phase to be very quick and easy for contributors since not every submission is approved to be a payable project. If you have multiple potential passages, please complete a new form for each one.
Ready to apply? We'd love to hear from you!
Please use the link at the top to apply.
You can send us more than one submission at a time.
